AFTERGLOW

In a world that is constantly moving forward, nostalgia allows us to return to moments we do not want to lose. As more and more memories are stored and shared online, only to gradually fade into the background, the desire grows for something that can make those moments feel tangible again.

Afterglow was created from that need. It is a modular textile wall object that gives meaningful memories a visible and tactile place within the interior. Personal objects and memories can be added over time, forming a unique composition that grows alongside its user. Through exposure to light and touch, the linen gradually changes in colour and appearance, much like memories themselves shift over time and take on new meaning.

Rather than preserving the past exactly as it was, Afterglow shows that memories can evolve with the person we become.
