IMPRINT
“Stories that deserve to be seen” is the message at the heart of IMPRINT. Scars are more than physical marks; they carry memories and experiences, and become part of who we are.
In a visual culture where beauty ideals often set the standard, the project offers an honest and relatable representation of the body. Every scar holds its own meaning and serves as a reminder of an experience that has shaped someone. Rather than seeing scars as imperfections or something to hide, IMPRINT shows how they can become part of a personal story, identity and strength.
As an awareness campaign bringing together photography and personal stories, IMPRINT creates an intimate experience centred on connection, recognition and understanding. By combining a photographic series with individual stories, the project creates space to look at scars differently and to embrace the stories written on the skin, even when they are the result of unexpected or life-changing experiences.
