LUNAR X MARK ROTHKO
In my escapism cure, with appreciation for the superstitions from my own culture, with the 'woolliness' of Mark Rothko as (main) inspiration, because of his way of communicating through the Colour Field paintings, I like to focus on mental health and hope I can (partly) contribute to this.
A world in which everything moves at a fast pace. A whole lot of stimuli. Pressure; pressure to achieve, the pressure to keep a balance between work, social life, family, love, etc. In short, we are stuck and locked in our fragile, complex minds. As if we just can't get out of it. Things seem so chaotic at times and so much is happening, that space is made for a huge (inexplicable) emptiness. Numb, frustrating and confusing.
