THE PURSE HOOK

Where do we leave our purse when we’re outside our homes? A question I no longer had to worry about after inheriting my grandmother’s purse hook. She used it to hang her purse from the table and always carried it with her. A simple and considerate gesture that is rarely seen today, even though purses play such an important role in our lives and carry what is most personal and valuable to us.

This observation became the starting point for PORTÉ, a modern purse hook, crafted in stainless steel and designed to be used as a practicality as well as a piece of jewelry. I hope to reintroduce this small ritual and encourage a more conscious way of caring for your personal items, just as my grandmother did.
